Ghostwriters Are Welcome!

We invite you to ghostwrite as many Our Legacy books as you want! Our hope is that the Our Legacy book series becomes the biggest book series in the world … and you can play a part in that.

Think of all the people, stories, adventurers, charities, Veterans, and histories you know. Each one of them is a legacy that needs to be in a book.

All Our Legacy books are paperback, small (5x7 in size), 80-128 pages, include b/w photos (20 max), and are 10,000-20,000 words. You do the writing and we handle the editing, proofing, layout, cover, ISBN, ebook, and going to press. All you need to do is capture their story, get their approval, and then pass their story on to us.

We charge authors $8,699 to have a book ghostwritten and published in the Our Legacy series. It’s $4,000 to the ghostwriter (you) and $4,699 to the publisher. You also receive 20 free copies of every Our Legacy book you ghostwrite (great calling cards for your next ghostwrite).

If you have questions, or are ready to start as a ghostwriter for the Our Legacy book series, let us know.

The process: Let people know the cost is $8,699. If they agree, we will invoice them 50% (paying you 50% of the ghostwriting fee), and you interview, write, tweak, revise, and upon their approval, you send us the manuscript as a Word document (leave images + captions in the book, but also send images separately as JPGs). Have them choose one photo for the front cover (the colors from that photo are used to fill in the background of the book cover). We pay you the remaining 50% of your ghostwriting. Then your book goes through production (cover, layout, proofing, etc.), and upon the author’s approval, it goes to press, with 50 copies arriving at the author’s door 4-6 weeks later (your 20 copies are shipped at the same time).

Terms & Conditions: To maintain the biographical/historical legacy focus for Our Legacy book series, we require content to be not too instructional or sexual in any way. We are looking for unique and original stories to share with readers of all ages. If you are unsure about your author’s book, contact the publisher BEFORE you ghostwrite it. As the publishers, we have the sole right to accept or reject manuscripts.
